Who We Are

Operation Honor: Rural Salute™ exists to serve rural veterans, service members, and their families who are too often overlooked and underserved.

Our mission is simple: connect rural veterans to community, resources, and meaningful opportunities that strengthen their families and their hometowns. We bring services directly to rural communities through large-scale, family-friendly events and year-round partnerships that remove barriers and create real access.

Our vision is a future where rural veterans lead revitalized communities across America. Where small towns are stronger because veterans are connected, employed, supported, and empowered to drive positive change. We believe when rural veterans thrive, rural America thrives.

What We Do

Operation Honor: Rural Salute™ is a rural-first veteran service organization built to close the gap between rural veterans and the resources meant to serve them.

We believe geography should never determine access. Too many rural veterans live far from services, disconnected from opportunity, and isolated from community support. We exist to change that.

What We Do

We host large-scale, family-friendly rural events that bring critical services directly into underserved communities. In one day, veterans and families can access:

• VA claims assistance
• Health and wellness resources
• Employment and workforce connections
• Benefits navigation
• Local and national nonprofit support
• Small business and vendor engagement
• Children and family programming

Beyond events, we build partnerships that strengthen rural economies and create long-term pathways to employment, connection, and leadership for rural veterans.

We don’t just provide information.
We create access.
We don’t just host events.
We build infrastructure for rural communities.
