Who We Are
All Vets is a Henry County, Virginia-based 501(c)(3) organization that strives to support our local veterans, their families, and the communities in which they live. Our mission is to Honor the Fallen and Strengthen the Living. We are comprised of active-duty military, retirees, veterans, military spouses, military children, families, and patriotic citizens. We work with local veterans, community members, and partners to enrich the lives of those who served our country, both physically and mentally. Additionally, we hold annual events to honor and remember military veterans who are no longer with us.
What We Do
To uphold our mission, which is Honor the Fallen and Strengthen the living, All Vets holds various events throughout the year to honor and remember military veterans no longer with us. Our annual Memorial Ruck and 9/11 Stair Climb are events held to honor and remember. We host monthly walks that encourage our veterans and their family and friends to get active at their own pace. We partner with the local YMCA to have rucking races/events combined with their established race series. We host a yearly Veterans Day Honor Trail. This honor trail is free to all area veterans. Where a picture of them, their name, and branch of service are displayed as a sign for a week at Jack Dalton Park in Collinsville, VA, near Veterans Day. We have a Salute and Send card program. This card campaign is free to all veterans. They can sign up to receive several greeting cards throughout the year. We host mental health forums and discussion panels that allow veterans to gather and discuss various topics related to mental health. Additionally, we encourage civic duty and activity by adopting two trails in our community. We often do trash pick-up and trail beautification. All our programs are supported through fundraising and donations.
